I used a mask, and add some white touches in the middle, again according on photo, but this time the one with dark background.

Use an appropriate sized large brush to get rid of a majority of it and when it comes to going around the water line I used a small brush and zoomed in so I could see a little better as I was masking.

Because I masked out the BASE FILES group, I can simply drag the SKY group below the BASE FILES group and shift and scale the location until I get something that looks good.
