成虫（adult，imago）生物学概念，为幼虫、若虫的对应词。昆虫个体发育过程中的性成熟的阶段。复眼出现，触角更发达，形态固定；有翅种类，翅形成，其他特征也发育成熟；生命活动包括获取营养、交配、生殖等。其特征是昆虫分类的主要依据。昆虫在从幼虫发育至成虫时，通常会经过称做变态的过程。有些昆虫的幼虫和成虫形态差异很大，这些昆虫经历的是完全变态；有些的幼虫则与成虫差异不大，这些昆虫所经历的是不完全变态。
