建筑装饰,大多用木板雕刻而成,位于悬山(古代建筑中的屋顶样式之一)或歇山(古代建筑中的屋顶样式之一)屋顶两端的博风板下,垂于正脊。得名与其形状有关。因为最初为鱼形,并从屋顶悬垂,故名悬鱼。
