微乳液聚合（micro emulsion polymerization）是一种制备小粒径乳胶的乳液聚合。通常的乳液聚合是油相单体在乳化剂存在下，水相介质中进行聚合。水溶单体如丙烯酰胺可在油相介质中进行所谓的“反相乳液聚合”，但得到的胶乳稳定性差，容易凝结。如果水溶性单体在大量乳化剂存在时、在油相介质中进行乳液聚合，此时，单体全溶于胶束，不存在单体颗粒，结果得到粒径非常细的胶乳，这就是反相微乳液聚合或称微乳液聚合。
