针灸疗法术语。指较大的针灸刺激。针刺以粗长针具，高频率，大幅度及长时间地捻转提插，使患者得到强烈感应者为强刺激；灸治则以大炷，多壮，或长时间熏灸为强刺激。适用于体质壮实，耐受性强，或某些需要大剂量刺激的病症，如急性疼痛和痉挛瘫痪等。
