The structural and evolutional model of the Mesozoic are-basin-trench system in California has been attracting the attention.
The former is formed in trench - arc environment ofintracontinental rift, and the latter in marginal basin.
According to stratigraphic compositionand lithochemistry, a"trench-arc-basin system" model for the dual-arrangedisland arc is established on the basis of the "tectonic melange".
