传统岁时习俗。流行于广东阳江、肇庆一带。时在正月初十至正月十二之间其中一天，每村日子不同。凡在去年生下男孩的人家（个别村例为少年长子），为 祈小孩顺利长大，均在是日举办此事。该日，男孩之父必购八角纸灯一盏，悬挂在祠堂或庙堂正中央，以求让祖先认识自己的子孙而加以荫佑，或请神明进行保护。
