平衡法(Balance Method)是指在同一时期内，设立一个与受险货币币种相同、数量相同、方向相反的交易，以避免外汇风险的方法。但是很难做到币种相同或相关、金额相等。因此对于中小进出口企业很难适用。在一般情况下，一个国际性公司取得每笔交易的应收应付外汇货币“完全平衡”是难以实现的。但是，在金额较大时，公司与其领导下的采购部门、销售部门与财务部门密切合作，对于一次性的外汇风险贸易仍可采用平衡法来抵消其风险。
