干热灭菌法是在干燥环境下用高温杀死细菌和细菌芽胞的技术。用于不能耐受湿热蒸气、不能用高压蒸汽灭菌的物品,如必须保持干燥的化学物品,有刃器械如刀、剪之类,无水的油剂、油膏、甘油等。干热灭菌法所需温度较高,时间较长。常用温度是160℃,持续2h。干热最适用于玻璃器皿的灭菌,尤其是玻璃注射器等。温度可以提高到170℃,灭菌时间1h。干热对某些不耐热材料有较大损害,不宜应用。
对样品化学成分的影响较小,其优越性高于流通蒸汽灭菌法和干热灭菌法。
