帖学,是指研究法帖的源流优劣以及书迹的真伪等的一门学问,也是指崇尚魏晋以下法帖的书法学派,与“碑学”相对。帖学有“学晋”“晋唐行草小楷”“主要学阁帖”等三种基本含义。其发端建立在北宋时期《淳化阁贴》的辗转翻刻传拓的基础上,其研究对象主要指的是墨本与刻石的拓片或拓本。帖学以手札、书信为主,多忠实于原迹,比较真实的反映了书作者的原本写字风格。
