左形(left handed form) 一对同形异向晶体中的一种。两个相同的图形或物体,几何形状完全一样,但彼此的取向相反,两者间互成镜像反映的关系,石英晶体且不能借助于旋转使它们彼此重合,就好像人的左右两手一样,这样的两个图形或物体即互为左右对映形,其中一个为左形,而另一个则为右形(right handed form)。凡是只具有对称轴的对称型,其晶形(既包括单形,也包括聚形)都有左形和右形的区别。最常见的如石英晶体(属于L33L2对称型)的左形晶体和右形晶体。
