巢鼠（Micromys minutus）又称燕麦鼠、圃鼠、矮鼠等，因其在植物杆上造巢，故而得名。除了跳鼠科的北方蹶鼠以外，它们在啮齿目动物中是最小的代表。耳壳内有三角形的耳瓣，能将耳孔关闭。尾巴长并有缠绕性，常利用尾巴协助四肢在农作物上或枝条间攀爬觅食，偶尔也在浅水中游泳。巢鼠对农业、牧业皆有害，是一种害鼠。 该物种列入《世界自然保护联盟》（IUCN）2013年濒危物种红色名录ver3.1—-易危（VU）。 （概述图来源： ）
