山矾（Symplocos caudata），别名尾叶山矾，又名七里香。以根、花、叶入药，清热利湿，理气化痰。主治黄疸，咳嗽，关节炎。外用治急性扁桃体炎，鹅口疮。常绿灌木或小乔木。小枝和叶芽无毛。叶互生，广披针形，革质。总状花序，早春开花，花白色。核果圆锥形。生于江西、浙江的山林间。果实榨油，可作机械润滑油；叶酸涩，可治久痢；木材坚韧，可制家具、农具或其他工具。
