属概念亦称“上位概念”、“类概念”。反映事物中作为属的那类事物的概念。与“种概念”（下位概念）相对。从概念之间的关系而言，如果有这样两个概念，其中一个概念真包含另一个概念，那么前者称属概念，后者称种概念。如概念“文学家”真包含概念”诗人”，“文学家”便是“诗人”的属概念。有些逻辑著作所说的“属概念”和这里所说的相反，不是指上位概念，而是指下位概念。
