尾须是由昆虫第11腹节附肢演化而成的1对须状外突物，存在于部分无翅亚纲和有翅亚纲中蜉蝣目、蜻蜓目、直翅类及革翅目等较低等的昆虫中。尾须亦称“尾毛”。昆虫腹部端节背侧之后的一对须状构造。变化很多，如衣鱼成很长的尾须，蠼螋成两个尾铗，多数昆虫变成尾毛。有感觉或防护的功用。
