射阳湖，位于江苏省扬州市宝应县东郊，处于扬州、淮安、盐城、泰州四市交界处，是中国淡水湖。据出土的石刀、石斧等文物考证，早在新石器时代中期，这里已有先民在此繁衍生息。春秋战国时期，此地先属吴，吴亡属越，越亡属楚，楚亡属秦。西汉初年此地属于项伯封地。 西起今宝应县射阳湖镇、西安丰镇、太仓村一线，北至淮安市境内的泾口镇、左乡（博里镇东）一线，东经九龙口，至阜宁喻口村入海，南连大纵湖，地势低洼，湖荡连片。 2019年2月27日晚，射阳湖再次登上央视荧屏，惊艳亮相于《中国影像方志》宝应篇。
