宽松货币政策（easy monetary policy）总的来说是增加市场货币供应量，比如直接发行货币，在公开市场上买债券，降低准备金率和贷款利率等，货币量多了需要贷款的企业和个人就更容易贷到款，一般能使经济更快发展，是促进繁荣或者是抵抗衰退的措施，比如中央放出的大量信贷就是宽松货币政策的表现。
定量宽松政策还没有完全发挥效力，有充分的理由增加货币政策委员会采购的私营企业资产比例。
