终军（约前133～前112）， 字子云，西汉济南人。西汉著名的政治家、外交家。少好学。18岁被选为博士弟子，受到汉武帝赏识，封“谒者给事中”，后擢升谏大夫。他曾先后成功出使匈奴、南越。战前“请缨”的典故就是出自他出使南越的故事。元鼎五年，年仅二十余岁的终军被南越相吕嘉杀害，时人称为“终童”。据《济南府志》载，终军死后归葬济南。
