妊娠合并阑尾炎是较常见的妊娠期外科疾病，孕妇急性阑尾炎的发病率国外资料为0.1-2.9%，中国资料为0.1-2.95%。妊娠各期均可发生急性阑尾炎，但以妊娠前6个月内居多。妊娠并不诱发阑尾炎，增大的妊娠子宫能合阑尾位置发生改变，增大诊断难度，加之妊娠期阑尾炎容易发生穿孔及腹膜炎，其发病率为非妊娠期的1.5-3.5倍。因此，早期诊断和及时处理对预后有重要影响。
