好运中心位于沙田市中心横壆街1-15号，于1983年至1984年分阶段入伙。由华懋集团和新基地产共同发展，因此建筑用料及设计较同一时期的华懋楼宇较佳。好运中心邻近新城市广场及沙田公园，并且有有盖天桥连接沙田中心及沥源邨。好运中心可分为商场及住宅两部份，地下为银行，茶餐厅及停车场，2楼为停车场，3楼为各种小型商店及百佳超级广场。
