外币卡 （Foreign Currency Card）是指结算货币非发卡机构所在国家法定货币的信用卡。一般情况下，信用卡的经营商多属于可自由兑换货币国家的机构，因此在此种国家，不存在外币卡与本币卡的区别；而在大多数发展中国家，很多国家的货币都是不可自由兑换货币，因此，以此种货币作为结算货币的信用卡即便参加了国际信用卡组织，所发行的也只能是地区卡，无法国际通用。为此，发卡机构必须以某种可自由兑换货币，即国际通用的货币作为自己国际卡的结算货币，从而实现发行国际通用信用卡的目的，这就是所谓的外币卡。
请准备一定的人民币现金以支付学费和其他费用，目前我校不能收取外币或使用信用卡，请自行到银行换取足够的人民币备用。
