塞棒(stopper)是装在盛钢桶内靠升降位移控制水口开闭及钢水流量的耐火材料棒，又称陶塞杆。它由棒芯、袖砖和塞头砖组成。棒芯通常由直径为30～60mm的普碳钢圆钢加工而成。
