塔门，英文名为草洲(Grass-Island)，位於赤门海峡吐露港之北，由大学站乘街渡一小时航程即可抵达。每天上午八时半及下午三时正开出，或可由西贡乘九巴至黄石码头，再转乘每小时一班的街渡前往。塔门是一小岛，四面环山合抱，形成南面有一水深湾港，每当冬季，强烈北风吹来，海面刮起白头浪，而湾内依然风浪平静，一向以来，渔船都爱在此处停泊。在五十至六十年代时最为繁盛，不下几百艘渔船聚集，岛上熙来攘往，好不热闹，商店食馆林立，其门如市，一片繁荣景象。
