对于恒定流，若同一流线上各点的运动要素均相等，也就是说运动要素与流程无关，这种水流称为均匀流；否则称为非均匀流。对于均匀流来说，液体质点速度的大小和方向沿流程保持不变，即迁移加速度为零，质点只能沿流线作匀速直线运动。对于断面形状和尺寸及边界条件沿程不变的长直渠道或管道中的水流运动，都属于均匀流。

After water cross-section determined in large flow and low water head aqueduct by designed flow and given water heads. When the flow increased，there is non-uniform flow happened in aqueduct.
大 流量低水头 渡槽根据设计 流量和给定水头确定过水断面后，通过加大 流量时， 渡槽内发生非均匀流，工程设计人员需对这种水流情况进行推算，以确定 渡槽在通过加大 流量时的水面线，由此 计算 渡槽侧墙高度和结构荷载，确保 渡槽的安全。
