场的理论 field theory是心理学引进物理学中“场”的观点的是格式塔心理学。它认为心理现象不是其构成元素的简单的集合，而是作为整体组成一个场，其内部相互间具有力动的关系。就格式塔心理学总体来说浸透着场的观点，在学习领域中，随着同美国行为主义心理学的论争的激化，往往把格式塔的学习理论总称之为场的理论。它的代表人物是格式塔心理学的创始人柯勒（W．Kohler）及其继承人托尔曼（E．C．Tolman）。又场的概念，很早就从心理学发展到发生学中。
