地台区 地台区指地壳上构造活动微弱、相对稳定的地区，垂直运动速度缓慢、幅度小，沉积作用广泛而较均一，岩浆作用、构造运动和变质作用也都比较微弱。地台区的外形呈近似圆形，直径可达数千千米，是地壳大地构造中相对稳定的构造单元。在文献中有“克拉通”(Craton)一词，意义大致与此相当。
