图根点是指直接用于测图的控制点。一般通过导线测量、GPS、RTK测量布设。 图根点亦称“地形控制点”。直接用于测绘军事地形图的控制点，即用图根测量方法测定的控制点。 图根点是在测量网中所使用的，在绘制平面图的时候要先在图纸上面绘制控制点，根据这些控制点，再进行加密测绘，这些基础的控制点即为图根点。通俗一点就是导线点的意思。
