固结指数[solidification index(SI)] 又称凝固指数、硬化指数。任何岩浆的分异演化都是向贫MgO方向演化，而且MgO的变化比SiO2更显著。1957年久野等认为研究玄武岩浆演化用固结指数比用SiO2更好些。
