固定筛是筛面固定不动的筛分机械。多用格栅筛，有时也用板筛。倾斜放置，物料倾于高端，在自重作用下沿筛面滑下，小于筛面缝隙或筛孔的颗粒通过筛面达到分级。 筛面的倾角与物料的静摩擦角有关，一般倾斜角为35°～45°，粘性物料可达50°左右。结构简单、坚固、不需动力，但生产能力低，筛孔易堵、效率低，仅适用于粒径50mm左右的粗筛。
实践表明，采用消失模铸造生产的固定筛篦条产品表面质量、 性能指标均能保证使用要求。
