噪声等效功率(Noise Equivalent Power )简称为NEP。噪声等效功率的定义是：信噪比为1 时所需的入射红外辐射功率。也就是说投射到微测辐射热计上的红外辐射功率所产生的输出电压正好等于微测辐射热计自身的噪声电压，这个辐射功率叫做噪声等效功率。
