吹管是电站锅炉投运前的重要试运步骤之一。吹管质量的控制和吹管工艺的正确实施对锅炉和汽轮机的安全运行有着直接影响。国内外主要有两种电站锅炉吹管工艺，即降压蒸汽吹管法和稳压蒸汽吹管法。降压吹管和稳压吹管技术在超（超）临界机组自流锅炉的吹管过程中都有应用。
