Roger Daniel, 37, offered the novel excuse after he was nabbed traveling at over 120 kilometers per hour in a 50 kph zone in the northern town of Whangarei, the DominionPost newspaper reported.
警方说，这次的事故是Hori第二次无驾照驾驶而被逮住。他的驾照因为八月份的肇事逃跑后被吊销。
The incident marked the second time Hori had been caught for driving without a license since it was revoked after a hit-and-run accident in August, police said.
