同步荧光法技术是由Lloyd首先提出的，它与常用的荧光测定方法最大的区别是同时扫描激发和发射两个单色器波长。由测得的荧光强度信号与对应的激发波长（或发射波长） 构成光谱图，称为同步荧光光谱。同步荧光法按光谱扫描方式的不同可分为恒（固定） 波长法、恒能量法、可变角法和恒基体法。
