吊兰，又称：垂盆草、挂兰、钓兰、兰草、折鹤兰，西欧又叫蜘蛛草或飞机草，拉丁文名：Chlorophytum comosum (Thunb.) Baker .百合科、吊兰属植物，原产于南非。属百合科多年生常绿草本植物。根肉质，叶细长，似兰花。吊兰叶腋中抽生出的匍匐茎，长可尺许，既刚且柔；茎顶端簇生的叶片，由盆沿向外下垂，随风飘动，形似展翅跳跃的仙鹤。故吊兰古有折鹤兰之称，植株有净化空气的作用，全株可入药。
