中国普通话叫汉语，英国话叫英语，吉安话虽然是汉语的一部分，暂时定为”吉语”吧。曾经看过一则报道：云南有一块方圆30公里左右的地方，住着一群人，他们的语言很特别。这群人一直按照自己的祖宗传下来的习惯生活着，很少与外界交流。因此，中国的那些民族专家研究了很长时间，怎么也确定不了这群人应该属于哪个民族，专家门正琢磨着要把这群人定为一个新发现的民族时。终于找到了这群人的根是江西吉安，他们说的是吉语，生活习惯也是几百年前从吉安带过去的。
