在摄影测量中，过投影点中心作物面上一直线的平行线和像平面的交点称为合点。物面上一组平行线有共同的合点（灭点），换言之，合点是物面上平行线组无穷远点的中心投影。过投影中心作一水平面平行于地面，称为真水平面或合面。真水平面与像平面的交线称为真水平线。地面上任何平行线组合的合点都落在真水平线上，所以真水平线又称为合线。合线与主纵线的交点称为主合点。主合点是地面上一组平行于摄影方向线直线的无穷远点的构像。
