合子有多种解释： 1.同“盒子”；2.中草药名，即榼藤子；3.閤子，指閤门使的官署；4.小屋，屋里(包括船屋)的一间；5.数学上用来指代和数；6.生物学上是有性生殖的生物雌雄配子结合后的细胞结构的统称；7.传统面食。
