可靠性增长试验，是通过对产品施加真实的或模拟的综合环境应力，暴露产品的潜在缺陷并采取纠正措施，使产品的可靠性达到预定要求的一种试验。它是一个有计划的试验——分析——改进（TAAF）的过程，其试验目的在于对暴露出的问题采取有效的纠正措施，从而达到预定的可靠性增长目标。
