古佛指释迦佛及其出世前所出现之佛，最著名的有过去七佛。即：毗婆尸佛、尸弃佛、毗舍浮佛、拘留孙佛、拘那含牟尼佛、迦叶佛与释迦牟尼佛。据景德传灯录卷一载，此过去七佛各举之得法偈，称七佛说偈。
景区内还保留有说法台、古佛岩、朝阳洞等古迹。
