prothoate 纯品为无色结晶，熔点28.5℃。工业品为琥珀色半固体，凝固点21～24℃。在水中溶解度为0.2%，与常用有机溶剂可混溶。LD508～9mg/kg。 20世纪50年代出现的有机磷内吸杀虫剂、杀螨剂。可由氯乙酰异丙胺与二乙氧基二硫代磷酸钠反应制取。用于棉花、果树、蔬菜上防治蚜虫、螨类，亦可防治木虱、蓟马、网蝽等害虫。制剂有乳油和可湿性粉剂。
