原行星云或前行星云 （Sahai, Sánchez Contreras & Morris 2005） (PPN)是在恒星演化的过程中，介于渐近巨星分支晚期(LAGB) [a]和随后的行星状星云(PN)之间，生命周期很短的一种天体。一个原行星云会发射出强烈的红外线辐射，因而是一种发射星云。在中等质量恒星(1-8 M☉)的生命周期中，他是演化阶段中倒数第二亮的（Kastner 2005）。
