《厕所》2010年日本电影。由荻上直子编剧执导，罇真佐子、艾力克斯·豪斯、大卫·兰道尔、塔提阿娜·玛斯拉尼、斯蒂文·雅飞主演。 《厕所》是荻上直子继《海鸥食堂》后再度远赴海外拍摄的作品，这次在多伦多拍摄的作品却只有一位日本演员，就是荻上直子御用的老牌影星罇真佐子，全片也都以英语发音。《厕所》的故事并不复杂，母亲的离去，加上一把大火，让个性孤僻的宅男雷搬回老家居住，他要面对已经足不出户四年的哥哥莫里、自傲的文青妹妹莉莎、还有母亲从日本接过来的沉默外婆。四个家族成员都有着古怪的一面，他们在冲突之中磨合，也从中发现并面对了真正的自我。荻上直子曾表示在美求学期间，启发她的都不是好莱坞大片，而是优秀的美国独立制作。确实我们在《厕所》里可以看见《天才一族》、《欢迎光临娃娃屋》等片的影子，但不同于美国电影的奔放，荻上直子维持她一贯沉静安稳的镜头语言，依旧淡淡地诉说一则家族物语。
