压降法实质上是定容封闭性气田特定的物质平衡法,或称直线外推法。目前它是气田(特别是裂缝性碳酸盐岩气田)较为广泛使用的一种储量计算方法。压降法适用于采出程度大于10%的封闭性气藏。对于边、底水不活跃的断块、裂缝、岩性圈闭等复杂气田也可使用。对连通性差的气藏储量计算结果偏小。它不适用于边、底水活跃的气藏。该方法计算的储量一般为已开发探明储量,在扣除废弃压力后所计算的储量可作为可采储量。
