南露脊鲸（学名：Eubalaena australis），哺乳动物，体长最长可达18米，完全成年的鲸鱼体重可达143吨。有些体形较大的南露脊鲸寿命可达80年以上。南露脊鲸不像其他的须鲸，露脊鲸没有喉槽和背鳍，下颚呈高度弯曲的弓形，黑色的鲸须悬垂下来可达2.5米。
