南票区隶属于辽宁省葫芦岛市，是一座具有两千年历史的古城。南票位于葫芦岛市的最北面，北邻朝阳市，南邻葫芦岛市，西邻建昌县，东邻锦州市。处于著名的辽西走廊。南票以产煤著称，区内有辽宁六大煤业集团之一的南票煤业集团。
