单引号是指一般用于直接引用的部分或话语，当引号里面还要用引号时，外面一层用双引号，里面一层用单引号。国家标准《标点符号用法》规定，引号所标示的，是“行文中直接引用的话”， 以便把这些话和作者自己的话区别开来。如果所引的话中又包含有引用的话，则要采用外双内单的办法，即外面一层用双引号，里面一层用单引号。
