北极狼（学名：Canis lupus arctos），又称白狼，是犬科的哺乳动物，也是灰狼的亚种，分布于欧亚大陆北部、加拿大北部和格陵兰北部。是灰狼亚种中体型中等的狼。狼具有很好的耐力，适合长途迁移。它们的胸部狭窄，背部与腿强健有力，使它们具备很有效率的机动能力。它们能以约10公里的时速走十几公里，追逐猎物时速度能提高到接近每小时65公里，冲刺时每一步的距离可以长达5米。这是一个冰河时期的幸存者，在晚更新世大约30万年前起源。
