读完了律法先知的书，管会堂的叫人过去，对他们说，二位兄台，若有什么劝勉众人的话，请说。
And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, [ye] men [and] brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
他到了那里，看见神所赐的恩，就欢喜，劝勉众人，立定心志，恒久靠主。
Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
我们的劝勉，不是出于错误，不是出于污秽，也不是用诡诈。
For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile.
