力举是夏季残奥会项目之一，是运动员上肢力量的较量。运动员必须将杠铃从支架上取下移至胸前，在胸前平稳支撑，然后向上推举至两臂伸直，肘部不能有任何弯曲。根据运动员身体重量分为10个级别。力举比赛允许所有符合最低残疾标准的脑瘫、脊髓损伤、截肢（仅限下肢）和机能障碍运动员参加。
