副节(parasegment) 副节是指胚胎沿前后轴由一套选择基因作用后形成的空间区域，是发育的单位。果蝇胚胎共分14个副节，每一个副节在特定的一组基因控制下成为一个独立的发育单位。前3个副节参与形成头部体节，再3个副节形成胸部体节，最后8个副节形成腹部体节。副节与后来的体节并不对应，每一个体节是由一个副节的后区和后一个副节的前区组成。胚胎前部的副节发生了融合，因此头区不分节。
